These machines are hitched to the 3-point linkage of a tractor and driven along the silage fodder as they harvest and chop the silage crop; the end product is ready processed silage for the pit/packaging. The machines contain processing and chopping chamber for cutting/pick-up, pressing/crushing and chopping. They are suitable for row fodder like maize and other grasses as well. They offer flexibility in terms of chop length from 4.5-15mm with options for making silage as well as haylage.
